We always welcome new members to our organisation! If you would like to become a member, all you have to do is fill out a simple form that is attached below and mail it to us, along with your membership fee. Please make your cheque payable to Filipino-Canadian Association of Vaughan. Please read our Constitution to better understand our organisation. Christmas celebration and Mr. Frank Miele

On December 3, the members of the Filipino-Canadian Association of Vaughan (FCAV) celebrated Christmas and took time to appreciate the blessings that they enjoy over the years. They have been fortunate to have Patricia Kemp Community Centre leased by the City of Vaughan for their use and other community use in the next 20 years.

The climax of the celebration was the recognition of the First Honourary FCAV Member which was awarded to Mr. Frank Miele, former City of Vaughan Commissioner of Economic Development who was instrumental in the successful twinning project between Vaughan and Baguio in 1997, and has since contributed countless volunteer hours to the FCAV as its trusted advisor for numerous infrastructure projects, government applications, special fundraising events s and other project management activities of FCAV.

Effective February 1st, 2024, Weekday Rental Rates: Monday to Friday

Gym $100.00
Room 204 (2nd Floor) $70.00
Downstairs Room (Nursery Room or FCAV Room) $55.00

*A minimum of three (3) hours is required

 

Weekend Rental Rates: Saturday to Sunday

NOTE: 

We require a security deposit of $100 to be returned once the Facility (Gym/Room  204/Downstairs Room) is left the way it was.   

We also require non-refundable rent deposit to guarantee the facility rental: 

  • GYM – $200.
  • Room 204 – $100.
  • FCAV Room – $80. 

Also please note that we don’t hold on your booking unless we receive your deposit.

Cancellation Policy: 

  • We do not refund on any cancellations.

Patricia Kemp Community Centre (PKCC) Facility Rental Requirements:

  • We require a security deposit of $100 to be returned once the Facility (Gym/Room  204/Downstairs Room) is left the way it was.
  • Require non-refundable deposit of;
    $200(Gym);  $100(GSSC Room 204);  $80(FCAV room).
  • Pay balance on the day or one day before the event.
  • Leave the Gym/Room in same condition as you came in.
  • Return tables and chairs in storage room.
  • Throw garbage in parking lot dumpster bin;
    turn off lights & lock doors.
  • Special Occasion Permit is required if serving alcohol.
  • Park your cars side by side as close as possible.
